Blogging

I think blogging is cool, but I just don't see the point if no one is going to look at it. How do I make people look at my blog? I know I could advertise on my facebook and flickr. But then I may aswell just put whatever I'm blogging about on there. That would save people having to come to my blog. I would like to find a group or a blog that unites photographers. So we can all look at each others work and get inspired.

I don't have any photos on my new computer(which I know you're all(probably no one)dying to know what it is. A Macbook 2.4ghz, 4GB RAM and 500GB HDD). but when I get them from my PC I'll post a load on here.
