So my girlfriend, has jumped ship and joined the Tumblr family here. Alluding this she asked me to try it out saying that I'd prolly like it cos it's easier etc. so here it is. I think it's quite nice to use, the colours are nice and the fonts are clear and contemporary. it's like seeing Windows 95 compared to Mac OS X.

point proven. So it prompts you to do some of the features it lets you like upload a video or a photo, or share a link or just write something. I just wanted to upload four of my photos I took in college which I liked quite alot. it was simple enough to do it, although it did take a while considering there were only 4 files and they were all .png files. when it was finished I was keen to see the finished result and all I got was a slideshow, which is not what I asked for. And after a quick google search I found that another person had the same experience and didn't want a slideshow, but someone suggested that the way around this is to upload each photo individually, but to be honest I'd rather not. also I noticed that you upload all the photos(to get a slideshow) and while choosing what photos you want to upload it says add a caption which I'm assuming is the writing to go with the photos, but again I'm also assuming, that the writing just goes below the slideshow. instead of being in between the photos in a dynamic way.

oh well, rant over. as much as Tumblr looks nice and seems easier to use, I've gotten used to using blogger and think it's like the Myspace of blogging
